Pomegranate Superfruit
The search for the next elusive superfruit is some of the most hotly debated health issues today. First it was the pomegranate, then acai, then coffee berries, then (insert new superfruit). Do you buy into the hype?
Health officials have no trouble concluding that all of the above fruits have valuable benefits, but they're adamant that no "superfruit" is a universal panacea. So here's the breakdown of what pomegranates CAN do for your health, courtesy of Times Union:

Benefits of Dried vs. Fresh Herbs
Herbs can make all the difference in a good dish; just think of chicken roasted with tarragon or fresh pasta flavored with basil. If you're thinking of stocking your kitchen with a few essential herbs, be sure to check out Yahoo Shine's list of do's and don'ts for herbs. Once McDonalds makes the switch to adding apples to all their Happy Meals, two of McDonald's regular apple suppliers, Tree Top and DOMEX SuperFresh Growers should see a bumper crop of money (and hopefully apples).
Do you applaud McDonald's healthier…
Harry Potter Hogwarts Cake
In honor of New York's premiere for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Charm City Cakes created a very special Hogwarts cake, half-destroyed by the Death Eaters during the Battle for Hogwarts.
They even have an option for lighting! Rupert Grint had the honor of cutting the first slice during the premiere event. I wonder which part he cut! The cake is quite detailed...but do you think it looks delicious? Would you want a Hogwarts cake?
