A delicious and refreshing twist on tacos
Ingredients[]
- Corn tortillas
- Kimchi
- Carrots
- Cilantro
- Chili oil
- Sesame oil
- Soy sauce
- Tofu
- Red cabbage
- Brown sugar
- Lime or lemon juice
Directions[]
Cut tofu into strips or cubes, pan fry in chili and sesame oil until lightly browned - add a little soy sauce or salt if you like!
To make the sauce, mix together sesame oil, soy sauce, a little brown sugar, and chili oil if you want more heat. A little goes a long way and I mix to taste each time, you may only need a tsp. of sesame oil and a tbsp. of soy sauce depending on how many tacos you want to make.
Chop up the cilantro or use it whole. Carrots fit best when peeled into long strips. Cut up the cabbage. The lime can be put in the sauce or directly on top of the taco.
Heat your tortilla in a pan then start loading on the toppings!
