Description[]
I discovered this dish at a Chinese buffet. I felt it was missing something - bought the key ingredients and put my own spin on it making it one of my most requested dishes among family and friends.
Ingredients[]
- 1 lb. frozen imitation crabmeat
- 1 cup diced green onions
- 1 can of corn
- 1 can of sweet peas
- 8 oz. sour cream
- 1 bag of shredded Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese (or cheese of your choice)
- Bread crumbs, plain or Italian style
Directions[]
In a mixing bowl, (size will vary based on the amount of ingredients you're preparing) combine thawed crab, corn, peas, onions and sour cream. Scoop the mixture into a baking dish, covering the bottom in a single layer. Begin adding cheese. If you have enough begin a second layer, repeat the previous steps. At the end, sprinkle bread crumbs on top and add more cheese and onions if desired. Place in the oven, covered or uncovered, at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.
